Studio Sestraluna
Studio Sestraluna is a private home studio located
in Northwest
Escondido with easy access from both I-15 and the 78. The address is
1971 Ruby Rd. This is a private residence, so please use the side gate
to the left of the garage to access the studio. The studio features a
170 sq. ft. dance floor of
laminate over 3/4 in. foam core, which provides better
cushioning and protection from fatigue and stress related injuries.
The name Sestraluna translates as "Sister of the Moon". The moon being primarily symbolic of the feminine as well as female energy and power. It also represents balance, mystery and renewal.
It is also the name of the troupe I co-founded in 2007 in Annapolis Maryland with Typhrodisia. Today the troupe is still active in Maryland, although I have relocated to the San Diego area. For more information on the troupe click here.
